Shop Policies


Shipping

Skin Script Products
All Skin Script orders are shipped directly from Skin Script which is based in Arizona, USA. All other orders are shipped directly from Cara B. Design & Wellness which is based in Blue Bell & Conshohocken, PA, USA.  Skin Script orders are typically shipped within 2 business days and are delivered within 2-7 business days.  Shipping times are estimated, not guaranteed and are dependent upon distance, weather, and shipping service.  All Skin Script products are shipped with a flat rate $7 shipping fee up to $49.  All orders over $50 are shipped for free.

All Other Physical Products
All other orders are shipped within 3 business days.  Shipping carrier varies depending on order size, however most orders are shipped via USPS. Occasionally, UPS and FedEX are used instead of USPS.  Shipping varies depending on product, and all orders over $75 ship for free.

*Please note, once orders are shipped, delays or other issues regarding the date and/or time when item will arrive are the responsibility of USPS, UPS, or FedEx and are not the responsibility of Cara B. Design & Wellness.

Digital Products (including Packages and eGift Cards)
For all digital products, your purchase is delivered instantly via email as a downloadable file. The file format of your product varies, but is usually PDF, MP3, MP4, or EPUB.  You are responsible for the storage of your file, upon receipt.  *Digital products cannot be re-sent if access to it is lost.  If downloadable file is corrupted or damaged upon receipt or if there is any issue with it, please email [email protected] immediately.

Orders are accepted and shipped Monday-Friday with the exception of the following dates each year:

  • January 1
  • July 4
  • December 24, 25, and 31

All orders placed on Saturday or Sunday will be reviewed and placed in the shipping queue the following Monday with the exception of the dates listed above. Occasionally, Cara B. Design & Wellness may be out of the office for an extended period during which no items will be shipped. In these instances, a banner will appear on the shop page notifying customers when shipping services will return.

Returns

Though we strive for perfection, some products arrive to our customers damaged or defective. Upon receipt, please examine your purchase thoroughly and contact us right away with any concerns. We can process returns under the following conditions:

  1. All Skin Script returns must be unopened and unused in their original packaging. If a Skin Script product is returned already open, no refund will be provided. *If item arrived damaged or defective, please contact Cara B. Design & Wellness directly for further instructions immediately upon discovery of damage or defect. Photographic evidence of damage or defect must be provided within 2 days of receipt of the item.
  2. All bath and body products must be unopened and unused in their original packaging. If any bath and body products are returned already open, no refund will be provided. *If item arrived damaged or defective, please contact Cara B. Design & Wellness directly for further instructions immediately upon discovery of damage or defect. Photographic evidence of damage or defect must be provided within 2 days of receipt of the item.
  3. All textile returns (wallets, handbags, etc.) must be returned undamaged. If a textile item is returned with damage, no refund will be provided. *If item arrived damaged or defective, please contact Cara B. Design & Wellness directly for further instructions immediately upon discovery of damage or defect. Photographic evidence of damage or defect must be provided within 2 days of receipt of the item.

Valid returns are accepted within 15 days of customer’s receipt of the item.

Customer pays for shipping when returning an item, with the exception of damaged or defective items. *If item is proven to be damaged or defective within timeframe provided above, Cara B. Design & Wellness will pay to have item(s) shipped back.

Items that are not eligible for returns:

  • Digital/Virtual Products
  • Sale items
  • Opened items
  • Used items
  • Damaged items (*items that arrive damaged are returnable with photographic evidence within timeframe listed above, however if an item arrives without damage and is later damaged in the care of the customer, the item becomes unreturnable)
  • Customized items (any item that is customized, including textile items such as wallets, handbags, eye pillows, etc. and bath and body products such as hand soap, roll on perfume oil, muscle balm, etc. are all considered customized items).

Refunds & Exchanges

Full refunds are offered when item meets standards listed in previous section.  Exchanges are offered if an incorrect item was shipped (Cara B. Design & Wellness will pay for shipping if an incorrect item was shipped).  Exchanges are also offered within 5 days of customer’s receipt of an item. Item must be exchanged for an item of equal value. If an exchange is requested for an item of lesser or greater value, it will be considered a return, customer will receive a full refund, and steps to create a new order will be provided. No exchanges will be honored if item is returned damaged.  Store credit may be considered in certain instances. Please contact Cara B. Design & Wellness if store credit is desired.

Gift Refunds
If the product was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.

If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Late or missing refunds

If you haven’t received a refund yet, please follow the steps below:

  1. Check your bank account again.
  2. Contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  4. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at [email protected]


Order Cancellations

Digital Products – No Cancellation. 
Due to the instant availability of your purchase, orders cannot be canceled. If you have mistakenly purchased the wrong quantity of an item, please contact us at [email protected].

Physical Products – Cancellation within 24 hours of order. 
You may cancel your order within 24 hours of its placement. To cancel an order, please email [email protected] with your order #, which is included in your Order Confirmation email.  If you did not receive an Order Confirmation email, please contact us via email. No cancellations are permitted after 24 hours. 

Skin Script Products – Cancellation within 12 hours of order, with conditions.
You may cancel your order within 12 hours of its placement. To cancel an order, please email [email protected] with your order #, which is included in your Order Confirmation email.  If you did not receive an Order Confirmation email, please contact us via email. No cancellations are permitted after 12 hours.  Please note, in some instances, canceled orders may not be possible.  In this case, your order will be treated as a return with a full refund, as long as you follow the instructions listed under the Returns/Exchanges section specifically for Skin Script products.
